When does Truth Academy offer classes?

→ We meet on Fridays from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Each school year is divided into two 14-week semesters.

We take a break the Friday after Thanksgiving during the fall semester, as well as on Good Friday and one additional Friday in the spring semester.

 

How much does it cost?

→ A $99 non-refundable annual registration fee is required.

For students ages 6–12, class fees begin at $175 per class, per semester, with some classes requiring an additional supply fee.

For students ages 12 and up, class fees range from $175–$250 per class, per semester. Some upper-level classes may also require additional materials, as well as supply fees.

 

How does the drop-off program work?

→ We have staff present at all times to provide a safe and caring environment for your children. When you arrive at Truth Academy, simply sign your student in with our coordinator or assistant—we’ll take it from there!

If your child isn’t enrolled in every class within their track, they’re welcome to spend that time in our Student Lounge. This supervised space is a great option for students to stay on-site while remaining engaged and cared for.

Each student may register for one Student Lounge hour per semester. During that time, they can relax, work on homework, play games, or enjoy time in the gym.

 

Can I stay at Truth Academy with my child?

→ Parents are always welcome to stay! Some families appreciate the convenience of our drop-off option, while others enjoy spending time on-site connecting and fellowshipping with other parents.

If you plan to remain in the building, we ask that you please sign in with the coordinator or assistant so we know who is present, and wear a name tag during your visit.

For students with special medical or other needs, a parent may be asked to remain on-site to ensure the best care and support.

 

How does Truth Academy differ from other home school groups/co-ops?

→ What sets us apart is how thoughtfully we structure our classes. Rather than operating like a traditional co-op—where classes depend on a minimum number of students—we partner with our instructors to offer consistent, well-planned courses across age groups.

Because our instructors are brought on to teach specific subjects, we’re able to maintain stability in our class offerings—even if enrollment varies between age levels. This means families can count on a more reliable schedule from year to year.

We also intentionally consider other programs in the area, aiming to offer classes that complement—not compete with—opportunities many of our families are already part of.

 

What kind of parental support can Truth Academy offer my homeschooling family?

→ We value supporting not just students, but parents as well. Our program offers meaningful opportunities for fellowship with other homeschooling families, along with Bible and book studies and dedicated times for prayer.

Because we are an à la carte program, you have the flexibility to choose the classes that best fit your child’s unique needs and goals.

We also offer both drop-off and stay options, giving parents the freedom to take a little time for themselves if needed—whether that means running errands, catching up on responsibilities, or simply recharging—so they can return home refreshed and ready for the rest of the week.

 

Do the instructors assign grades for coursework? 

→ In some of our upper-level classes, students may receive suggested grades for completed coursework to help guide their progress.

Because we are not an accredited school/organization, final responsibility for assigning grades rests with parents. We believe parents are the primary educators and aim to support you in that role every step of the way.
